The photo sessions would take a couple of months work in the studio, and then another month before the calendar would be ready for distribution.

After my post on social media advertising for girls interested in fashion modelling, the first response arrived:

“I am a young Filipino girl looking for friendship and maybe more with genuine male,” the message began. “If you are seeking company, I am able to perform tantric massage and many other discrete services …”

And she had attached a photograph that showed off some of her more obvious charms.

“What do you make of this?” I asked, passing the phone across to Vella.

“Well, I don’t know what you were expecting,” she answered with a little giggle. “At least she seems up for anything.”
