Off-limits Grump

I can’t stand her…Trying to impress a CEO
like me with this fancy hotel and a couple of
group bonding activities? Nah-ah.

It’s not unusual for people to fight just to be signed with my
company—but there’s something different about Emma Miller.
She isn’t fighting for the money—but for the challenge to grab my
attention.

But she got that fast with her unstoppable curves and sweet smile.
Too bad she’s so stuck up.

If she likes challenges, she isn’t ready for what’s coming.
I know about the importance of maintaining boundaries at work, but
there is something about Emma that is driving me crazy.

She’s off-limits, but I could care less.

She looks focused on dealing with the trip activities, but she knows
that she’ll have to come to daddy to get that contract signed.

Between the sailing activities, the golf courses, intense meetings and
the fancy dinners, all I really want is to claim her between my hotel
room sheets.

And I can tell by the way she held my gaze across the boardroom that
she wants it too.

Time to show her who’s boss…
