The First Cut
“I saw what love did to my father, and there’s no way I’m going to let history repeat itself. No way…”
Mac seems to have it all: he’s good-looking, confident, happy-go-lucky, solvent, and even has his own business in London.
His girlfriends come and go, lots of them – but that’s the problem. He can’t find love – or rather he is unwilling to allow himself to fall in love. For all his outward charm, Mac is damaged goods. He is a man emotionally scarred by a cut so deep, so severe, that he shields himself from love.
And he’s happy with that. Mac’s doing just fine.
That is until the day Alice walks into his life…
