ENVY
He is the most ruthless mafia boss in the city, and I just agreed to work undercover as his cook.
I’ve never met Giancarlo Rossi, but I’d be a fool not to believe the stories. I also believe he killed my boyfriend. I just have to prove it. So, when a client needs an insider in Giancarlo Rossi’s home, I jump at the chance to search his private rooms. Except, I am thwarted at every turn by his grandmother, sister, and even Rossi himself. His love for his family and kindness toward me confuse me. How can a hardened criminal hold my hand so gently?
She’s only been here a few weeks, yet I can’t get her out of my head. She doesn’t belong in my world. But when my family and I suspect a rat in our organization, my eyes turn to her, even though my heart screams no. How can she betray me? I know what I must do. I’ve done it many times before. But this time it’s different. She’s different. And if I go through with it, I’ll never be the same.

This dual POV book is what I’d describe as a light mafia romance. The hero is a hardened criminal, who acts violently toward others but has a soft spot for his heroine. The story ends with a happily ever after and no cliffhanger.
