Falling for the Grumpy Single Dad
I chose the WRONG man for a one-night stand.
I was just offered a promotion. Land an exclusive story with ex-pro football player, Graham Pearce. Since his accident, he has refused all interviews, but I love a challenge.
When looking at his bio, I saw the face of the intense stranger I took home a month ago . . .oh no.
I do not sleep with clients, that is off limits for a professional journalist. But I don’t think this counts. We were strangers and oh the way he touched me.
I can be professional and get the story. Besides, I’m sure he doesn’t remember that night.
Graham has turned out to be very grumpy and difficult as hell. Now he sees me as the enemy.
I get so frustrated with him and consider letting my promotion go. This is not worth it.
But then the memory of him that night consumes me. I can’t tell if I’m burning with fury or passion.
