Jaded Turquoise

Sam Reynolds is on the fast track to management when he gets derailed by a new unfamiliar face in the office. She may be the one to change his bad-boy ways for good. She’s smart, sassy, and mesmerizing.

There’s just one catch. She’s the New Boss!

Someone should have told Sam to read the employee handbook, it says it very clearly:
“You cannot sleep your way up the corporate ladder.”

This is almost as important as the next unspoken rule:
“Don’t Piss Off Management!”

Ending up in bed together is one thing. Working together afterward is another.
The whole office will be involved by the time they’re finished.

If “goodness gracious” was a person, she was it. A petite, perfectly sculpted vixen with light-colored ocean eyes and silklike skin just entered my lonely world. Her hands reach for the same floor’s button that I had previously pressed. I nearly gasped at the thought of her touching the same surface of an object last held by me. If only she would turn to face me now, she would see my face blush red by the immaculate impression that her legs and thighs have left on me. Her heels are pink, not just light pale pink, but the pink you would only wear if you had the confidence to exude. She has captured all of my senses. I am hyper-focused at this point; that soft voice suddenly reverberates in my ears.

“Looks like we are getting off together.”
Excuse me?” I choke on my words and imagination.

“We are going to the same floor.” She repeats.

“Yes, the Sales Floor. The bane of my existence, but the lifeblood of the company.” I try to play it cool to her.

“I work in Sales, too. Today’s my first day.”
