As soon as Keegan Klauss turned eighteen he ran away to the military. He loves the lifestyle and thrives under pressure but when a letter from the girl who never gave up on him gives him a reality check, Keegan heads home back to US soil for the first Chiristmas in far too many years.

Holly Douglas has been Keegan’s link to home, sending care packages every week and regaling him with letters of his brother’s antics. When she loses both parents in one week just before Christmas it’s time for Keegan to man up and return the support she’s offered him. Seeing her again makes him realize what he’s been missing, and he hopes that a damaged soldier is worthy of one last Christmas wish.
