Saved from Vengeance
In a burst of flames, my life changed forever.
I went camping to get away from everything. Just me, alone on an island, with only my camera for company.
Then a boat exploded right in front of me.
I saw the fire, the man in the water, and instinct kicked in. I swam out to save him, risking my life for a complete stranger.
But he doesn’t feel like a stranger. There’s this connection between us, like nothing I’ve experienced before. When I’m with Finn, something just feels right.
That’s why when I realize he’s still in danger, I can’t let it go. Even though there can’t be a future for us for so many reasons, I have to do something to try to keep him safe.
I don’t think about the repercussions. Or that I’ll be putting myself at risk again.
I’ve always been the one doing the protecting.
Until the day my boat exploded, and I woke up with an angel looking down at me.
She’s incredible. Brave. Strong. Kind. And so beautiful she takes my breath away. But I’ve sworn off relationships and trusting anyone new. I have my team, and that’s all I need.
Except I can’t stop thinking about Hanna. And when I find out she’s in trouble because of me, there’s nothing that can stop me from going to her.
It just makes sense to bring her home with me. I can protect her here at Blade and Arrow. Make sure she doesn’t get hurt again. It has nothing to do with how I feel when I’m with her.
But there’s someone intent on punishing me, and they don’t care who else they hurt. And if I don’t stop this unknown enemy, I could lose the woman I’m falling for.
