Lieutenant Curtis Jenkins was in the right place at the right time for the first time in his life when he rescued Harper from Ranger Valley. Even though he was already headed there to meet up with the men he served with, he never expected to find a place he truly belonged.

Jenna’s past is bound to catch up with her eventually, but for now in Ranger Valley she is trying to make a home for herself and her son. Eagle’s offer of a safe place in the middle of nowhere couldn’t have come at a better time.
