Holden is running from all his problems. That is until he meets a girl who forces him to face all of them.  

Accused of murder and on the run, Holden is fleeing more than just the law, but the drama that awaits him back home. After the death of his mother, family secrets began bubbling to the surface.

Quickly losing his grasp on reality and his sense of self, Holden began spiraling down a slippery slope. The last thing holding him together was his little sister, who he tried to make a better life for. But once he finds out that she was sneaking around and lying behind his back as well, it became the last straw.

With all these issues building up, Holden decides to run rather than face his problems, attempting to save his family from any more trouble. Finding himself in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico, Holden stays on a ranch run by a quiet, reclusive man named Anthony, who has made a habit of taking in troubled souls. It is there that he meets someone that completely changes his perspective on everything: Juniper.

Although she has lost the ability to speak after a traumatic event, what she can’t say with words she speaks with her heart, causing Holden to question everything he’s ever known.
